“Look, mom! There’s 3 Steps To Cost Effective Internet Advertising!”

Oh brother, give me a break. While the statement above is meant to be a joke in disguise it really isn’t. My meaning is this, you go to any article on this site and other places and most of the info is basically recycled content.

Why do I say this? It could be found in forums and blogs and even other articles. Finally, if you have had enough of all this “junk” and out to seek the real meat and bones of cost effective Internet advertising then read on.

Let me show you the real proven steps to cost effective Internet advertising top marketers use. Again and again.

Step #1: Bulk Advertising (Its Not What You Think!)

Firstly, the most cost effective Internet advertising is always paid advertising. Believe me, when I mentioned saving costs it doesn’t mean doing advertising for free.

The most qualified buyers come to you when you pay for an audience who have the money to spend. Moving on, besides just doing paid advertising you need to source out bulk advertising offers.

Just do a search on Google or Yahoo and type advertising offers you’ll see tons of websites come up. It could take awhile to filter the good ones from the bad but its worth it. Always buy in bulk for the best deals.

Step #2: Sourcing Out Your Brokers

Sometimes you may even be able to hire a helping hand to dig out great advertising deals on various websites. Sure, it may cost you a little but its worth it because you could spend more time preparing your advertising campaigns.

All the tasks like getting the budget range, ad traffic targeting , ad volume, period of ad display will be handled by your friendly broker. They may even be able to offer you a personal discount too!

Why? Let me explain. Brokers do this stuff for a living and they have great connections with other ad companies. Just jump on the train.

Once a deal is secured they place a really big order and passes these “group advertisement” savings to people like you and me. Good to know.

Step #3: Putting The Pieces Together

Your only reason for knowing how to save cost is really to maximize profits, right? So, the next thing you’d want to do is to ensure that your marketing system is ready to communicate to visitors well.

Cost effective Internet advertising basically is getting the message through to your prospects. You achieve this with the least amount of effort or cost as possible.

Then, some of your marketing colleagues or prepare to invest about $170 – $270 for a good copywriter to critique your sales page or your email messages. It’s definitely much better than paying someone $3000 for a simple sales copy.

In closing, making sure your campaign is ready to launch is often the most important part of cost effective Internet advertising. Paying good value for money advertising will work when you have all the components in place to maximize your marketing profits.

A New Age Of Information Has Dawned On Us!

In case you haven’t already noticed we are now entering the age of information. In that I mean things like banking, trading, shipping, communications, manufacturing and even grocery shopping all can be done in digital format known as 1 and 0 data bits.

I’m not going to preach about the world evolution of technology but it would be good that you should have an open mind when you read on. If you have been advertising offline for quite awhile now and still ponder is the Internet is a wise choice then here are your reasons:

Reason 1: Information At The Speed Of Light

We will take a traditional approach in comparison to advertising on the Internet. It should help you understand a lot faster than me beating around the bush. Say one morning you decide to advertise for the weekend papers.

You need to go out and buy that newspaper (which is like 10 – 15 minutes walk total) and pay some $0.70. You get home open the classified ads and study your competition and decide which category is best for your advertisement space (another 20 – 45 minutes or so).

With the Internet you can just do a Google search without leaving your home and pay nothing to do your research. All at the click of a mouse!

Reason 2: Competitive Rates With Different Options

For every newspaper or magazine that you go to there is always a minimum fee of about $30 – 1000’s for advertising space. Given that you need to call up certain magazines to check your rates and discuss with someone over the phone.

On the Internet you just make a search and find out some websites offering advertising on the Internet packages. They do everything from the marketing message to the advertisement launch for you. Its not hard to be able to locate such services.

Reason 3: Automated Response Within Days Not Weeks

Sometimes when you put an advertising slot on the newspaper of offline magazine you need to wait for the next publication date which could be month ahead. Just by advertising on the Internet you can receive results within days even.

The speed of execution is in the magic of electronic mail delivery where your prospect would not need to wait for his family dog to go “fetch the papers for the day” at home. Just plunk on his laptop or workstation and ‘voila’ there is your marketing message in front of him.

Will advertising on the Internet be a suitable marketing medium for you? Sure. As a matter of fact I’d say if anything can help you save time it really is worth exploring. Be a risk taker and discover the opportunities that are laid in front your PC.

Are you considering advertising your website more so that you can make more money? Are you concerned with what it might cost you and if you decide to advertise which methods are best for you to use? These are legitimate concerns and you should have them when you are trying to figure out the advertising costs on the internet for the methods you want to use. Some methods seem so attractive, but yet they really are not. Here are some of the costs and methods that work best for the majority of people.

First, let’s concentrate on the free methods for those that are on an incredibly tight budget and need to get some advertising dollars coming in. You can use a signature on your email, forum marketing, free classified advertising, or you can eve write articles. These are all very good ways to generate some good free traffic to your websites. You should stay away from free traffic exchanges unless you are trying to build a list because the conversion rate is not worth the time you will put in and you could have written a few articles that will get you much better results.

Second, we will look at methods that are very inexpensive that work. You can use FFA (Free For All) pages, but you need to make sure you use the ones that you pay for. Also, you can use Pay Per Click Advertising, email blasts, and paid classified advertising. These are all methods of advertising that will cost you some money, but you have a good amount of control over how much you spend on your advertising and usually how much you spend per visitor. You should avoid any website that is simply selling traffic because they usually do not provide a very high quality of traffic to your website.

Last, we need to discuss those methods that are more expensive and do work very well. Again, you can use Pay Per Click advertising and expand your budget with it. You can also hire an advertising firm or hire a search engine optimization firm. You can pay for a listing in the Yahoo index or the Google index. These are all methods of advertising that are expensive, but work. Especially using a search engine optimization service is well worth the advertising costs on the internet that you will spend because they will bring you a naturally high search result on the engines and it will bring you traffic for a very long time.

A question I get a lot is “What does it cost for Internet advertising?” I’m almost tempted to tell people, whatever they want to spend. But I realize that there are those of us new to this game who don’t really know what the various costs of advertising on the Internet can be. While this article is no way all inclusive, as there are just too many ways to advertise online, it should give you a good head start to Internet advertising costs for the most common forms of advertising.

Since most people are really looking for free sources of advertising, let me start off with those first.

If you are looking for advertising avenues that won’t cost you anything and still bring you some results, your best bet is to go with article marketing. Article marketing, in theory, is very simple. You write articles that pertain to your target market and product, submit them to article directories and bring traffic to your site through the link in the article that you’ll include in your author bio. This method is very effective if done right and as I said, it doesn’t cost you a thing. The only drawback is that this form of advertising is relatively slow to bring results.

If you’re looking to actually spend some money and get results a little faster, one of the most cost effective ways is to host your own FFA site. You can do this for as little as $10 a month. What hosting an FFA site does is it allows you to send out your daily advertising message to people who post their own ads to your site. This is a great way to reach other people who are involved in Internet marketing. This is a very cost effective way of advertising as you can host about 10 sites a month for under $200.

If you’re looking to spend a little more money and get the most targeted traffic that you can get online, your best bet is to go with Google Adwords. In a nutshell, Adwords is a system of advertising where you put up a 3 line ad based on certain keywords that you want to target and pay for this ad only if a person clicks on it and goes to your site. The amount you pay per click will depend on how targeted the keyword is and the competition for that keyword. For the most part, the most expensive keywords, per click, are those for make money online opportunities.

As I said, this list is by no means complete. If you’re interested in learning more about Internet advertising, there is a resource in my signature that includes every form of popular advertising on the Internet. You’ll find it quite a good read.

Remember the good old days when the only time you had to worry about your kids bugging you to buy them stuff was when they were watching commercials during Saturday morning cartoons? Well, those days are gone. Welcome to the world of Internet marketing — a playground for advertisers and a place where targeting children is easier than ever before.

Advertisers like to target children because “if you can get ‘em at a young age, you got ‘em for life.” Kids are increasingly spending more money themselves, and besides that, they tend to have influence on their parents. Kids know that when they want something bad enough, they can generally nag until they get it. Unless it was my dad, who told me to get a job before I could walk. I learned to make a lot of toys out of wood scraps and pinecones. But that’s neither here nor there.

Child advertising used to mainly focus on kid things such as toys and candy. Now the field has broadened to include almost anything. In the US there are over 57 million school age children and teenagers who spend about $100 billion each year of their own and their family’s money on sweets, food, drinks, video and electronic products, toys, games, movies, sports, clothes and shoes. So you can see why marketers want to target this demographic.

There are millions of kids using the Internet world-wide and this figure is bound to increase dramatically over the next few years. The Internet is a place where advertisers can target these kids, often unabated and without parents even knowing.

Advertisers can elicit personal information by asking kids to fill out surveys online in exchange for letting them play games or offering them prizes. From these surveys they can find out children’s preferences and purchase patterns.

This information can then be used to create individualized profiles and ads to target specific demographics. These ads can often be intermingled with other content on specific sites that are designed to keep children entertained for hours, not even realizing that they are being exposed to calculated invasive advertising techniques.

Once again it comes down to being a responsible parent and keeping a watchful eye on what kind of sites that your kids are visiting. Often the targets can be too young to even understand what personal information is, so it is a wise idea to make sure that your kid is not being taken advantage of by monitoring their Internet activity.
